Default SWS Update

Hey I've been meaning to ask about this since they came out,,,I have the SWS/AW: Render tracks to mono/stereo stem tracks, obeying time selection on shortcuts along with many other SWS shortcuts..

I have not seen this SWS/AW: Render tracks to mono stem tracks, obeying time selection

In the update is there another term being used for this or has this shortcut become obselete?

Thx, jeff

Hi Jeff,

SWS/AW: Render tracks to mono stem tracks, obeying time selection still shows up here in the [Main] Section of the Action List with SWS 2.10.0 #1 - Feb 6 2019 installed.

Which operating system, Reaper and SWS version are you currently using?

Hey solger,

I'm using win 10 pro reaper 5.984 (having control surface issues after this update) and the latest SWS before this last upgrade...2.9.7

OK. I just did a quick check with the same versions (Windows 10, Reaper 5.984 64-bit and SWS 2.9.7) and these two 'SWS render tracks' Actions show up here:

- SWS/AW: Render tracks to mono stem tracks, obeying time selection
- SWS/AW: Render tracks to stereo stem tracks, obeying time selection

In case these two don't show up on your side: have you already tried to reinstall the SWS Extensions (a link to installers of 'Old versions' is available on the SWS page under 'Additional downloads')?

Ah, OK. Yeah, these two Actions are still named the same on the latest SWS 2.10.0 #1 - Feb 6 2019. So already assigned shortcuts to these Actions in the Action List should stay the same (I just tested this here with updating from SWS 2.9.7 to 2.10.0 #1).

I just gotta get this nanoKontrol surface issue straighten out so I can update to newer versions....I cannot figure out what the issue is...I use the NANO for cc shortcuts and things, but sometimes use it as a 8 channel control surface to set up and balance my mixes after recording...ANY version of Reaper update AFTER 5.984 has my TRACKS on Reaper jumping and jittering...have you had any issues with this...

Is it a NanoKontrol version 1 (with 9 faders) or 2 (with 8 faders)?

I might have some time to check this in the next days (with a NanoKontrol 1).

OK. Are you using the N2 with one of the 'default' Control Surface modes?

Or with something else like Klinke: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=171827 or Reaper Generic Control:

Just to clarify:

Are you referring to pre-release versions (since 5.984 is currently the latest available 'official' one)? If that's the case, then it's probably worth posting this issue into the pre-release section of this forum (in case you haven't already). EDIT: Just saw that there's a v5.985rc1 in the pre-release section.

Or did the issues start with version 5.984?

v5.984 - October 12 2019 Is the one I am using....I see this is an official version and REAPER tells me there are no new updates...

I used to have to go back to march if I updated to any latest preversions....so I'm fine then eh?
