Item's label, Item's background, Selected Item and file converting action
These are suggestions I had exposed before...
1- Item's Label: Screenshot "DP-KIM-MIDI-Audio"
Here's a screenshot of Digital Performer tracks... Look the "green strip" on the items, on this strip we can see the track name.. It would be nice if we have this strip colored as track color and with the item label on it. Why do I suggest this? well, I think it's better to read item label and aside this we can have track color in there instead of coloring background of item or even peak.
2 - Item's Background and Selected Item
I think item's background colors wouldn't change with selection... I propose this: maintan the same color when selected but add a red thin strip around the item (like cubendo, remember?)
3 - File Converting Action:
Do this, set your project to 48kHz... then import a mastered version of any track you like (most of them are 44.1kHz), play it... see the clip indicator? it's going over 0dB's... if we have a file convertion option whenever we try to insert any media that's not in project samplerate this wouldn't happen... I know I know... you'll say to me "reaper does it on the fly" but... is it doing it right?
Thanks for take your time on reading this...
Thanks to Reaper Development Team for taking this GREAT DAW to the next level!!!!!!!
