Thank you for your kind words... Its what makes this worthwhile ( though my wife has a different opinion )

I downloaded it, because I love Ludwig kits. But it just crashes Reaper for me.
I have a pretty powerful PC. I don't recall the exact spec but it's about 4-5 years old. I've never had any problems with anything I've thrown at it before. I've mixed some pretty intensive sessions with lots of plug-ins and the performance meter has never gone above 50%
Any ideas? I can find out the spec if that helps?

Just answer these two questions :
- did you download the normal version ( requires 6 GB or more of RAM ) or the lite version ( requires 4 GB of RAM ) ?
- what is the RAM spec for your machine ?

Thank you for this. Downloading now and look forward to giving it a try. Firefox says it will take a while, but worth the wait.

Thanks!
So, this is RS5k instruments,
and Kontakt can't handle the multi-channel wav?
So, no Kontakt instrument, no TX16Wx ?
How many instances of rs5k needed?
Btw: Was unable to listen to SM MegaReaper Drumkit_Lite.mp3

Tod already posted his awesome Kontakt instrument. Tx16wx instrument on the way. It is for Tod's version of the kit. Because his version has stereo samples.
So yeah the 127 layer kit is pretty much a Reaper exclusive .

Thank you so much for this Drumkit!
just playing with it right now. it works great and it is amazing!
one thing in the manual there is a duplicated paragraph:
"Pressing play at this point should make you hear some pre-programmed grooves......."
edit: attaching megababy maps

I had downloaded both the mega and lite version and gave them a try couple days ago.Thought they were ok but I have Addictive Drums so I deleted them.
Decided to download the lite version again yesterday.Just to have another choice for drums.
I cant download either.

Hey dude , its outta my hand. Next release is going to have mirrors.
As for AD2 ( and most of EZD2 ) its great if you are after LOUD modern rock or pop but for anything else it lacks a lot IMO.
One of the reasons i made this was because none of the existing stuff quite hit the mark for me ( barring drumasonic ).
Cheers
Edit : the AD2 interface is brilliant and best of the lot by the way.. Again IMO

One thing. I went and put all the samples in a separate folder.Make easier because Im going to give a shot a ResampleOmatic and build my own version.Just seems easier to me than all the files in one folder. In folders for foot hats velocity from 47 to 92. Dosent start at 1. Are the folders missing 1 to 46?If not Is that they way its suppose to be numbered?

Hmm, anybody have a workaround for this? I often use this option but don't want to add 6g of samples to every project folder. I guess the simple answer is just to render and delete the samples, but I'm wondering if there is another way.

Went and mapped it. Only thing this hi hat closed sounds a bit chocked off. Instead of going "Taa.." its going "T.."
First time actually using Reapers sample so maybe I need to mes around with the decay and mess.
Heres a template file of it. I used the lite version so If anyone can look at it and see whats going on.

It is really a problem for me too. We should have an option to exclude reasamplematic from this operations of copy or move media when saving. I guess Cockos never thought a sample library so big could be made for ReaSamplOmatic

Aaaaah this ! I will have to look into it... Let me get back to you.
By the way the samples are around 2 GB not 6 GB ( thats the RAM usage ).
That's still a lot of overhead for a project.
Let me check...

The foot hats didnt have velocity range but different sample for each velocity. I removed half of them for the lite version. Hence the numbering.
And yes , you can tweak the open hat choking using the ADSR in the RS5k.

Thanks!
So this is a completely different sample-set from Tod's drums?
Tod has made a kontakt-version of these SMM-kit?
I have enough drumset-instruments, but miss some sample-set for custom usage.

Some of the items overlap as in both us used the same raw sample files but the editing of the individual samples ( lengths, layers , round robins etc ) and the subsequent design / mapping is unique to each.
Tod has made a rather excellent kontakt instrument for his set of samples :

A big thank you
Thank you so much. Downloading now. I will take some time out to get into this.
Hot days and summer coming up down here but the other guys can stand around fielding the cricket. I will be in my cool room trying to come up with a 'magnus opus' with these infinitely selectable drums.
Got rat faced with the drummer Friday night. A tiny Irish redhead who sounds like Aretha Franklin or Dusty Springfield doing hard rock so I guess we still need her.
You can do drum replacement but you cannot replace a good drummer....or can you? Tee he ha ha; off to play with Reaper.

Hi Geir, just so you know, in the Kontakt version I have both a main nki which is all the drums in one Instrument nki and I also have individual nkis for each kit piece.
Since I have a plethora or drums myself I prefer the individual nkis so I can mix and match as I wish.
