Default Question about Megababy in Reaper (Win 7)

Greetings all.
I managed to download the Megababy pattern sequencer extension but have no idea how to get it into Reaper 6 portable. Have searched for a simple tutorial but so far no luck. There are some great YouTube vids by Kenny Goia on how to use Megababy but nothing on where to install it or how to open it in Reaper.

You can tell I'm a newbie in Reaperland.

In a past life I used the C-Lab Creator pattern sequencer on an Atari 1040ST. It was, and still would be, the fastest sequencer on the planet and I had heaps of fun. From what I've seen on YouTube Megababy comes closest to that kind of ease and speed.

Sure would be grateful for your input. Thank you.

Megababy is in Reaper. You didn't need to download it separately.

# Click "FX" on a track
# Click "Add" in the FX window
# Type "meg" in the filter field.

See it? Select it, click "Add" and you're good to go.

Welcome to the forums, BTW.

Default Holy Mackerel - it works!

Thanks you so much Fex. Once again an eye-watering problem has a simple solution. I'm stoked!

You're welcome!

If you haven't played with music production software since the Atari 1040ST was industry standard, you are going to be amazed what plugins you can add through that FX page. Reaper's native plugins are somewhat basic (solid as rocks, though); when you have a moment, go Google yourself some free VST to download.

Have fun!
