Default Preserve File Dates on Config Export

When exporting a config, file dates for my scripts are set to the current date and time. Is it possible these files could retain their original file dates?

EDIT
Actually it would be nice if all user created files kept their original file dates when exporting a config, mainly folders like TrackTemplates, Scripts, etc.

Thanks!

(Win7 / x64)

The creation date has to change (done by the OS) because it is a copy of the file=new file on the disk, which means the copy was created at the time of the export which is true - however, the modified date/time should not change, and that's the one you'd want to track - I checked a couple of my config exports and the modified dates varied and didn't follow the timestamp of the export, which is what I'd expect.

Where are you looking at the date/time, maybe that will help me understand.

I'm looking at the files with Windows Explorer, using the default date column (Date Modified) in details mode. If I extract the files from the config file manually (using say drag-drop from winrar) the file dates (Date Modified) are preserved.

So they change modified date/time via the reaper import process? That's the only thing I didn't test but agree modified shouldn't change if the file wasn't modified.
