Default Metronome improvements

Can you add professional capacity for reaper's metronome?

As I use REAPER not only for recording/mixing but also as learn and practice instrument, I need a metronome with detailed and flexible capabilities.
For example, add 8th, 16th and triplet ticks with volume adjust.
Usually I change project time signature any time I need more precision metronome, but it is not very usable method.
I think it would be cool to add "Advanced timing" checkbox and "Configuration" button in Metronome and Pre-roll settings window. Pressing Configuration button opens mini mixer window with 1th,4th,8th,12th,16th... beat volume, or fully editable pattern.
I hope it would be a great improvement for many of REAPER users, not only for me!
Sory for my bad English.

I voted for this, but have there really been no other FR's for this? Until just now I haven't needed this feature (but I have used it in the past in PT). Seems weird that it wasn't included off the bat, at least a few subdivisions.

bumping this. Every metronome should have at least the usual subdividable suspects. Go vote, peeps. (link to FR below) : )

The one thing I'd like to see would be the ability to have some kind of global metronome setting, or metronome presets. Anyone interested in this kind of feature?

Absolutely. I don't like that metronome settings are only saved with the project.

Also, I would very much like to see a pan slider.

I'm using 3 ReaSamplOmatic's each with the samples Woodblock, Cabasba and Tamb. Download from here:

http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/s...postcount=1141

I set the modes to "Sample (Ignores MIDI Note) and adjust the note ranges to 60..60, 61..61 and 62..62.

Insert a the MIDI/Sequencer_baby before the samplers, and enter in the click tracks as suggested by Gavin Harrison.

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug0...licktracks.htm
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov0...kingtracks.htm

I can then pan the samples, send audio signals to a different output channels (on my US1800), apply reverb/compression, etc.

Basically I'm aiming to record real drums via click tracks or have a live drummer playing to pre-recorded bass. Hopefully this year :-)

Nice idea,voted!
Here is another idea,If you like anything implemented it in your Feature Request, please.
Here we go,it would be good to make preset from what bar you want to change tempo, and make complete metronome changes for whole song you are planning to record (also additional feature with markers and info notepad inside)where tempo is changed.
When you made this adjustment it will automatically make bars and mark regions into track view...
This sound very good to my ears. What do you think guys?

You need to put MIDI in front of it, then you have a chance of getting it fixed. :-(

3 years later still nothing I care about and Reaper is still way better than anything else in this price range so I'm very happy but sad that none of my requests get addressed for me in my audio (pretty much non midi) world.

Nobody would want a MidiMetronome. So outdated.
