Default "a welcome home away" - free instrumental space-rock album

a welcome home away

here's some music for you. more of the same, but somehow rather different than before.
psychedelic rock, instrumental, progressive, with slight hints of jazz and outer space.

thanks for listening!

dub tree - Sounds really good. Nice job. "Same but different"? Works for me.

Bandcamp question: How's the "Name your price" thing workin' out?

Hey there, thank you for listening and commenting, I really appreciate it!

As far as the Bandcamp question:

I used to do street music, and I view the whole "name your price" thing to be akin to laying out my guitar case in front of me while I play. Most of the time, people will download it for free, which is totally fine; I like having my stuff available for free. But I've found that, if given the option to pay (like putting a dollar in the guitar case), every now and then, someone will contribute. Often it's less than $5, but I have had a few generous souls over the past few years throw me 10 or even 20.

I don't really do any promotion besides posting on forums like this one and KvR and handing out business cards when I play shows, so I can't really comment on how effective the pricing method is versus the alternative of having a fixed price. Let's just say I still have to work about 60hrs a week at my "real" jobs to pay the bills, and about once every two or three months I'll randomly find another $5 or so in my PayPal account.

I'm not one for self promotion, and I like giving my music away for free, but I'm not too proud to accept a few "tips" or donations here and there for doing what I love!

I like it. A lot. I'm surprised there's not more comments on this. You have some groovy stuff here man.

Bumping this one just to compliment - this is perfect combination of earthy and spaced out, extremely inspiring. I need to dig in that bandcamp(to listen, learn and likely steal some ideas).

Just gave a bit of this spin and I reckon it's great! Nice mix of psychedelic sounds and really well produced.
