Default Anyone uses taht extra fast PCI-e SSD-s?

Like Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 or something. You can get it fow 320$.

is it worth?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-467-_-Product

for KONTAKT instruments this could be the hammer + a fast DD4 ram

It's definitely worth it per this article: http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/...olute-monster/

But you need a motherboard with 4 PCIe lanes to see any improvement over a SATAII drive.

In terms of bang for the buck I will be sticking with my 512gb 850 evo for the time being, but it is a shame the write speed is SO much less impressive than the reads.

Cant wait to see how this series develops though....

Should give MOBO architecture design a kick up the ass.....
