Time selection ignored when duplicating midi notes
When ctrl+left dragging to duplicate midi notes, the time selection is ignored.
It used to be that if you dragged from within the time selection, the notes would be split to the time selection, in the same way that this presently works for midi items.
This behavior is configurable in mouse modifier preferences.
May I ask how? I had searched for it for ages and found nothing. The options I can assign to ctrl+left drag include nothing about slicing or time selection when duplicating.
I've always used alt, but yea this isn't working correctly. It should obey time selection unless you select one of the options to ignore it; ut we don't seem to have those actions anymore. Have you tried installing an older version to verify that something has changed?
