Here's an album I made with some friends, using REAPER (you should hope)
http://music.1014.org/index.php?path...20Volume%20One
These were all recorded live and improvised (though sometimes re-improvised, casually), and have a been edited a touch (for length mostly -- "Standing Orders" was originally 25 minutes, now 12). All plug-ins used were built-in Rea* and JSFX.
Recorded on Linux with an old PCI RME HDSP (thanks pipelineaudio) connected to a Focusrite Saffire 40 Pro and an ADA8k via ADAT.

I should mention that some of the tracks have vocals, others do not

Wow, that's kind of hypnotic. Very human, very groovy. Psychedelic! Atmospheric and sexual. And of course it kind of seduces me to take some drugs.
Love it. (At least the first songs i have already listened. )

Reminds me of late '60 experimental stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Listened again, and love it even more.
Some parts remind me of “The End” by The Doors; some remind me of Jim Miller sessions (Traffic, early Rolling Stones,etc.). I think “Dogs Will Rule The World” sounded like what I imagine the jam sessions leading up to “Low Spark Of High-Heeled Boys” might have been like. I also heard maybe a little bit of Joy Division and perhaps some of the groups signed to the 4AD label in the 80’s.
Those may or may not be influences for you, but I grew up with and still love them, and really liked this!
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, it definitely has that late 60's vibe, kinda fuzzy and warm around the edges. Most modern bands lack this kind of "feeling". It's very "open" sounding, not at all programmed.

Cool and trippy music Justin! A developer using their own software, and the Linux version to boot. Gotta love that!
