Default Problem bouncing VSTi’s

On any session, with Kontakt (with no round robin samples, just plain sounds), Addictive Drums, Pianoteq, and Amplitube.....
If I render, or “record output” (with or without latency compensation), the rendered audio does not phase cancel with the plug in audio when played side by side.
What is wrong with my settings? I can’t find anything.
I thought at first it was to do with the mentioned plug ins having random or round robin type ways of working, but kontakt defo doesn’t because I built the sample instrument from scratch and it is super simple...
I’m lost!

It won't cancel if there is any sort of modulation (reverb, delay, chorus, flange, etc)

Nailed it. My Kontakt patch had a reverb hiding. I would understand a modulation effect being slightly different each time due to the way it works, but not necessarily reverb, though I guess a degree of mod is part of that effect too. That means that per bounce/playback, small differences (quite big in amplitube) can make that particular play through better or worse in terms of how it all gels together. Hell, this is getting a bit close to analogue to me....
