+ Preferences: rescan MIDI devices when opening MIDI device tab, or resetting

Was thinking about something the day.

It might be useful to also reset midi and rescan just after you get the initial pop up upon loading reaper that says midi devices not found when you press the "ok" button.

If when pressing "ok" on the pop up we could scan one more time as that would then allow us to turn on/connect those devices before pressing the "ok" button and save us having to to go to preferences or restart reaper to pick those devices up.

Just a thought might be silly one.

Not a bad idea at all I often foret to turn on some device, so quicker solution would be great.
On start Studio One pops up with a message "xxx device is not connected. Do you want to re-connect now?" Turn on the device, hit OK and re-scan/re-connecting done.

I agree, I think it is reasonable.

That's a better idea yes

If the pop up box on launch had an option there to "rescan now" that would be great.

Is it possible to add the same for the MIDI controllers which are configured in the /osc/web preferences section?
A separate action to reset/rescan them would also be nice, like the one that's already available for MIDI keyboards.
