Script: MultiTracks Envelope Chart

Hi,


I was playing with GFX a bit, and I made a sort of MultiTracks Envelope Chart.



Here is a demo with Pan envelopes on a 6 characters dialog:
(note that contrary to Pan graph in Heda's Loudness - which inspired me, it doesn't show the real sound pan direction, just envelopes - it doesn't take take pan into account for eg, or initial channel distribution of the sound. Just envelopes.)




Very handy to pan dialogs ! In this mod it only display points under items.



No release plan yet. Just a showcasing.


It indeed miss lot of features for a public release, like saving position, recall settings, have buttons and shortcuts to change settings, rulers, and even a bit more of interactivity etc...

Anyway, what do you think ? ^^

It could. It is just a matter of scaling. Only volume envelopes could be more difficult.

And... if you would be able to show little numbers of envelope values at envelope points (as Logic does) when there is enough space between points... it will be super!!

I can see how it could helpful but this would be over complex to set up, cause it would thist need to evaluate the size and pos to every text which "could" be undera point,and then trying to find collision, and only find those who don't etc... a lot of works for a small benefit IMHO, especially considering that there is lot of case where it still could be not readble (like if you have a lot of tracks, lot of points etc)


IMHO having horizontal rulers is the best way to go for clarity of the visualization.



Also, there is more important things to support first like the different type of envelope points for eg, some adjustable option...

It was originally designed for pan enveloped. I didnt bring other envelope support for now. It is on pause.
