Change the height of an Automation Item Label

Hi Everyone

Is there a way to change the height of an Automation Item Label?

I have increased the size of the “Media Item Label Font” in the tweaker and this affects both the “Media Item Label” and “Automation Item Label” (which is great).

However, although the height of the “Media Item Label” is increased to match the new font size, the height of the “Automation Item Label” is not.

They got developed and added to Reaper, then forgotten about for theming.
We could do with ai_bg and ai_bgsel images.

Its not really a bug, its just a lack of a feature. A lot of things in Reaper are hard coded and simply not themable, I'm afraid this is one of them.

I guess it needs to be made not hard coded, like the Media Item Label.

To me, it reduces the usefulness of being able to change the “Media Item Label Font.”

You can bet it will happen at some random time in the future, I dont think there is any priority on UI stuff, it gets added when it gets added.

Win Conway - I'm sure you're right. And I can totally understand a minor GUI bug being a lower priority than others

I can confirm also that this is quite annoying and I've tried to fix it too. It's linked to other font size settings and so Automation Item labels are almost always going to be cut off unless you're using a font size of like 6

I really hope one day "soon" this gets a quick fix. The height of the font area there is very hard to work with in my opinion. I feel your pain.

Bump this... I can't tell what is what with half of the name being clipped, unless I change to smaller Media Item Label Font, but then it's too small for me to comfortable being able to read....

so then I have to write everything in all CAPS which makes all my automation and media items too loud...
