Default Video Processor

Hey there. There's a lot of presets for Video Processor, and I imagine it will continue to grow as people use this cool thing more and more.

Could we get a Filter box for the preset selection? Having to navigate that big list is just going to get more cumbersome, and hopefully it'd be a simple "add element to window".

Thank you always!

Pretty sure I made an FR about having VP work a lot more like JS such that each preset is actually its own plugin for which we can then save parameter presets. Pipe dream probably, but would be so much better for almost everybody.

Exactly this would be super useful. A preset where "Zoom/Offset UDLR/Rotate" were automaticaly exposed as lanes, etc. Just anything that is a repeated activity, when that stuff can be saved as a preset it's always a good thing.

I mean it would be super amazing to have more of the full featured IDE that JS has for editing, too, but…

It would be extremely useful to have a search-option within the VP!

Any FR's regarding this - a more efficient identification of VP presets will have my vote.

Before publishing my GiraFX video lib, I had some pertinent discussions on the developer forum about the best deployment method for a full collection of new presets. Although I chose the « psl » approach for its simplicity, an alternative method had been proposed by Mespo that involved a preliminary Reascript GUI that would insert presets from collections with filter ability. It looked promising but I needed to register a new repository and do some new development that would have delayed even more the release of my lib. I have quite a few things in the pipeline right now but I could dig up the protype when time allows (or specific funding comes :-) )
