Thank you devs for this!!

The edits seem to be preserved but Reaper hangs after a few edits and undos: (0:59 in the gif)

I wanted to try again how well the reaper undo-history can be used with melodyne. I know it's slow, but it would be so nice workflow-wise. Unfortunately reaper seems to ignore the "Save minimal undo states" setting.

No matter which setting i have chosen in the fx-browser, the plugin window always shows activated:

Subsequently melodyne-edits do not show up in the reaper undo history.

Is there no other setting possible for melodyne anymore?

Thank you. Working just fine in all my test cases. Speedy fix.

# jsfx: correctly name midi_note_sanitizer
It would have been easier and more predictable to use this if the sanitizer sent note-off, then note-on messages sequentially for colliding pitches rather than completely ignoring new note-on messages. There are a lot of circumstances during MIDI editing where you accidentally place the end of one note under another one, with the sanitizer running this would mean the users notes would get gobbled up without realizing. In other words the notes I hear should still match what I see.

Has the boat sailed on making this a tickbox in preferences rather than a JSFX that we have to put on every track on every project and every track in our track templates?

If you set the minimum retrigger time to something short (not 0) it will do as you expect, probably.
