Default Setting loop selection for several regions

Maybe it could be done by shift clicking the region headers and when shift+double clicking one of them the loop selection would be set for all regions. Anyone?

How about this?

Use current tools to select regions - click, shift-click, control-click, alt-right-drag, whatever works.

(these are same as media items or clips, no?)

One new command somewhere, be it mouse, key, button, context menu, or wherever.

"Set loop selection to span selected items"

Unless I misunderstand something here, there's already a "Loop Selection: Set Loop Selection To Selected Items" command in the keyboard shortcuts, which I have assigned to P for myself.

Cheers

Yes, you might have misunderstood. I was requesting a way to set loop selection based on several regions following each other. However, setting the current loop sel by left-clicking on the time line for the startpoint and shift-left-clicking on some other place on the timeline serves the same purpose.

Is that meant in a way like in Cubase you'd use the "Play Order" track? Or more like having several, diff. Loop sections then?
I'm sorry if I'm being a little thick here, but english is not my language, so I don't understand everything as meant sometimes, so educate me.
Otherwise, it shouldn't matter if you choose several regions or items in the project to set your loop selection, no?

***Another Option could be "Select all Regions" in the context menu (or via keycommand) and apply the same "Loop Selection: Set Loop Selection To Selected Items/Regions" keycommand. Would that be right?

Raphael

Edit: I've tried to select multiple Regions in a project and now know that you can't select multiple Regions at once ATM. So see ***

Not a problem, funkster! English is not my mother tounge either

I was just talking about selecting one area that contains several regions.

BTW haven't used Cubase in a while but that play order track you mentioned sounds like an interesting function!
