Thanks... some sounds sound a bit thin but others are quite good. Haven't checked them all out yet.

Nice trance lead!

Nice!

I used this one a lot in the (distant) past. Eventually it was replaced by better sounding synths, but it has one of the smartests and UIs I used

It's really great for D&B sounds. Black Sun Empire use it. The modulation system is awesome.

"It currently only builds on windows, but getting it to build on macOS again & Linux should be doable with moderate effort.", which means I spent OS X build time scratching my head. If anyone successfully builds for OS X please send guidance : )

There's been lots of updates, fixes for crashes, UI moving to vectors and Linux and OSX builds

Has been the synth for the latest KVR One Synth Challenge (make a track with sounds ONLY from the synth of the month).

The entries can be heard here …

https://soundcloud.com/kvrosc

or via the main contest page

https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewt...p?f=1&t=522831

Some Linux users and I think a Mac build is not far away. A number of bugs were identified and fixed during the month long challenge.

Best one was that the vst3 version was a semitone out! Which caught a number of FL users out as they could not load up the VST2 version (which was OK), due to oddities in the scanning for vst's.

Enjoy the tracks, and hear what Surge is capable of - some impressive tracks there.

thanks ... it is indeed an interesting synth, ...and for free it is worth twice the price!

Wondering why shortcircuit 1.1.2 is not also made open source? This would make vemberaudio a dream of musicians, in history. Then imagine using surge, shortcicuit, together with Reaper, filther, airwindows and more saike magic.
