you can try the following, but you'll probably need to adjust the position of the buttons a little after moving them.
Code:
Code:
set tcp.phase h>88 w<6 [0] [206 68 47 43 1 0 1 0 ] [0]
set tcp.recarm h>24 w<301 [0] [133 -3 30 30 1 0 1 0 ]
set tcp.recarm h>74 w<301 [0] [133 -2 30 30 1 0 1 0 ]
the 133 is the Horizontal position
the -3 and -2 are the vertical position.

Almost there. I'm getting an oversized Rec button and a tiny phase one!
Code:
set tcp.phase h>88 w<6 [0] [206 68 30 30 1 0 1 0 ] [0]
set tcp.recmode h>88 w<6 [0] [166 66 47 43 1 0 1 0 ] [0]
set tcp.recarm h>24 w<301 [0] [133 -3 47 43 1 0 1 0 ]
set tcp.recarm h>74 w<301 [0] [133 -2 47 43 1 0 1 0 ]
(by the way, where do I find tech documentation as to what these parameters actually mean in the Reaper docs ? )

you need to change the size of the buttons as per my code example above.
here it is again with the relevant numbers in bold and italics:
set tcp.phase h>88 w<6 [0] [206 68 47 43 1 0 1 0 ] [0]
set tcp.recarm h>24 w<301 [0] [133 -3 30 30 1 0 1 0 ]
set tcp.recarm h>74 w<301 [0] [133 -2 30 30 1 0 1 0 ]

The TCP and MCP Separators are essentially minimal layouts with NAME, MUTE, SOLO & RECORD.
The Separator layout is setup to hide the buttons when they are in the desired state:
- Mute on
- Solo off
-Arm disabled
Unmute the track, activate Solo and Arm the track to see the buttons.
It wouldn't take much to use this to create a 'minimal' track just by making the buttons visible all the time.
let me know if that will suffice or if you want it look like the other TCP tracks and not a separator.

I just realized this image you posted is for LCS_BugFix_ ALBERT-C ( SOLARIS-PRO ).
Please leave further comments and requests for that theme in it's own thread:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=200113
Cross-posting will cause confusion for myself and others reading this thread.
This is due to the fact that while the two themes may have some visual similarities, they have very different coding and image files.

OK, but the Arm button is only there when it's Armed.
This means it is not in that location when it's not armed and invisible.
The means you cannot click on it when it's invisible.
let me know if you want a version that has all 3 buttons always visible, regardless of the currrent state it's in.

Thanks for this theme - it's been my only theme for absolutely ages now.
One small thing. Is it possible to remove/hide the folder panel on the left of the TCP (extreme left of screen)? I only use Reaper for mastering, so never need folders. Also, an accidental click can put something in a folder, change the gain structure and blow my head off with extreme loudness, haha.
Is that possible? Hope this isn't too stupid a question.

If your head is getting blown off with loudness, you need a brickwall limiter on your master, or you need to check-on the option for Reaper in the Prefs to cut out when the Db blows over.

Haha, thank you but I don't think you're quite understanding things this end.
I'm a professional mastering engineer and have tracks/sends/routing set up for feeding various parts of my studio (analogue chain, metering, monitoring etc). One false click - which happens, let's face it - and a foldered track can go to the incorrect output. A limiter is missing the point, and the Reaper option doesn't apply as not all the gain staging/routing happens in Reaper. I'd also like the screen real estate, to be perfectly honest.
Hope this clarifies things, cheers!

Hi Macc
You're welcome!
Glad you're enjoying the theme.
To remove the Folder and Folder Compression buttons from the TCP panel, you'll need to edit RTCONFIG.txt file in the theme's image folder.
Open it with a text editor and find the following 2 lines in each of the TCP layouts set them to zero as per the example below:
Code:
set tcp.foldercomp [0]
set tcp.folder [0]
* Please note the following:
This will also remove the black area on the left side of the TCP.
This can't be helped without rebuilding the theme.
Unfortunately, this will not stop you from being able to create folders with drag and drop.
not sure how or if that can be turned off.

Just installed the Solaris_CDS https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2135/S...DS_rev-3.13.7z . I don't know the different version types or difference between LCS and CDS but this theme is the greatest thing I've seen on reaper. Gorgeous! Big thank you... I'm feeling super inspired by this theme. Please keep it going! Thanks.

you're welcome.
Glad you like the theme.
the differences are:
Solaris_LCS is mine and supported here.
- v1.x is deprecated.
- v2.x is current and supported
The other is a mod of my theme and not supported here.

You do excellent work!
I was wondering about that myself... I'm working on a simple theme and removed the folders / folder comp. I'm using the TCP primarily and found I could still accidentally create folders by drag and drop when rearranging the tracks. I couldn't find any info about this so it looks like it's not possible at this time (and probably not a big feature request either).

Hi ron-e-g
your second screenshot shows that you are using v1.x
This is thread is only for version v2.x
Please download and install v2 (links are in the 1st post).
I'm not really supporting v1.x anymore.
If you really want that version instead of the new one, please post your issue in the v1.x thread
I'll take a look at it at that point and will fix it if it's something simple.

1) is the theme listed when you try to select it in Reaper?
2) please post a screenshot of what's in the Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2 folder.
3) if the theme is listed in Reaper and the files exist in the correspodning theme folder, try this:
- a) open the Action List and type ' Theme'
- b) select ' Show Theme Tweak'
- c) in the Theme Tweak window, click on the ' Browse' button at the bottom.
- d) navigate to and select the Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2 folder, then click the OK button.
- e) click on the Save Theme button at the top of the Theme Tweak window.
let me know if that fixes it.

No it's not listed in the theme file in Reaper Preferences> themes. But the Solaris_LCS_ Grey is.
Sorry I'll be back with a different size screenshot! Did I ever mention how this site sucks for posting pictures?
sorry..must be a better way! Am I missing something? Well the folder has a lot of icons related to the Solaris theme.

I wanted to use this theme (which is a beautiful one) instead of the old ALBERT-C Solaris Pro set. The only thing who made me switch back to the old theme is that the mixer green meters are beside the faders, thus making better use of space.
This 2.0 version have the meters ABOVE... is there a way to change that ?
I don't have more than 1080p of vertical resolution in my 24'' 16:9 monitor...
Thanks in advance!

lucas even though the theme doesn't show in my reaper theme folder through the reaper program, I followed the instructions you gave with the Actions tab it worked I think..mostly. I can now see all the VU's are blue , and I can change many layout preferences including the fader colors now. However, The theme Blue Version 2 still doesn't show up in the reaper preferences so I'm not sure how I would switch back and forth between different themes and get the blue version 2 back. also When I select the track color option it does not create the track control in either TCP or mixer view like the screenshots I've seen.

If you click Options from the menu at the top of the Reaper window, then select Themes, does Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2 show up there?
There is also a Load Theme button at the top of the Theme Tweak window, try looking there if that's easier for you.
You can switch between themes using either of those methods.

Apologies, but again, it's not clear to me what you're referring to.
Please let me know which screenshot you're speaking of so I can get an idea about what you trying to describe.
I downloaded Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2 from the Stash earlier and tested and didn't see any issues, so I don't know why you're having trouble.
From your screenshots it looks like you unzipped the downloaded file twice as instructed and put the correct file and folder combo in your Reaper Color Themes folder.
Are you using a Mac or PC?
Can you try using a Reaper portable install?

Thank you for the compliment.
Unfortunately, putting the meters above was one of goals and really a necessity due to the button sizes in the fader section.
I may look into creating a layout with the meter in the fader section at some future date, but I am working on other things at the moment, so it would be a very long time before it could happen.
The theme is built for 1080 resolution, but all the layouts can be pulled down for smaller mixer sizes.
Albert's version is only fullscreen.
If you like the Albert-C Solaris Pro beta, you might want to try my Bug Fix version.
The thread for that is here:

Lucas,
sorry what I was trying to say is, When I open reaper and go to Options>Themes I don't have the Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2 show there in the pop-up or drop down window that opens. So I can't select back to it after changing to one that is. However If I go to c>program files>Reaper (x64)>InstallData>
ColorThemes It is shown there.
The second thing is, when I select a track color, only the sound wave form is colored, and the title area slightly, not the track, or mixer panels as shown in the screenshots on first page of this topic labeled screenshots under Blue category 5,6,7,and 8. Sorry man I would upload a picture but this site has too many restrictions so well just have to keep guessing I suppose! Tried a image hosting site..nothing doing..still fails. How did you get the screen shots posted I refer to?

Put your themes into the Reaper resource ColorThemes folder rather than to the install data path. This is done easiest simply by dragging the new theme file over the Reaper UI while Reaper is running. The theme should change on the fly when you do that and also saves to the proper location automatically.
Or you can open the resource folder from Reaper; Options/Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder. Then copy your new themes into the ColorThemes folder shown in there. In my PC that path is c:\Users\xpander\AppData\Roaming\REAPER\ColorTheme s.

I does look like you have some files in there which you could get rid of. Eg. the FolderWT_Imperial theme seems to have three copies, two with the same time stamp too. Lucas_LCS posted info about some of the 6-7 KB files below, thanks lucas.
---
For posting images into the topics, using an image host (eg. Imgur) is pretty easy way to do it. Here are some tips about it from DarkStar:

are LCS_Gold and LCS_BugFix working?
Please note the following:
LCS Gold and LCS BugFix are self-contained.
Both should show up as as a single file for each in your Reaper Color Themes folder:
1 file: LCS_Gold.ReaperThemeZip
1 file: LCS_BugFix_ ALBERT-C ( SOLARIS-PRO ).ReaperThemeZip
notice that the file sizes are 2557 KB and 2177 KB
LCS Solaris Blue and Gray use a Theme File and Theme folder structure.
You should end up with 1 file and 1 folder for each of these themes in your Reaper Color Themes folder.
The file sizes are only 7 KB and 6 KB and the corresponding folder for each should be 2.18 MB and 2.15 MB.
notice that the files have no 'ZIP' at the end of the name:
file: Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2.ReaperTheme
folder: Solaris_LCS_Blue_v2
file: Solaris_LCS_Gray_v2.ReaperTheme
folder: Solaris_LCS_Gray_v2
I suggest you move all the other files with these names somewhere else, or delete all copies from your computer, download them again and start over.
The Solaris_LCS themes can be a bit tricky to install, but the file/folder structure is needed to access all of the layouts properly.
The double zipping is necessary to be able to load them onto Stash as one file.

It sounds like the theme is not installed in the correct location.
looks like xpander already covered this in one of the above posts.

This is a setting in Reaper.
go to: Options/Preferences/Appearances/Track Control Panels
put a check in the box next to: Tint track panel backgrounds

no worries. Letting me know which screenshots you were looking at works just as well.
Most image hosting website generate a link code and/or an image code to use in forums or another website.
The screenshots in the first post are just links to the theme screenshots in Stash.

LOL, this is quite the rabbit-hole...
1) What Reaper version are you using.
2) are you using OSX or Windows and what version of either?

Right, but how do you get such a big picture to post when I constantly get errors that my pic.'s are too big!

The difference is I am posting a link to an image and you are trying to attach an image to a post.
Attachments have size limits, a link is just a pointer to another webpage.
The file size for a link doesn't matter because the forum is not hosting the actual file.

Win10 or Win7 ?
I have Win 7 64bit
I downloaded Reaper 5.91 and did a portable install.
I dropped the both the Solaris Blue and Gray themes I downloaded for testing earlier and dropped them into the ColorThemes folder inside the main reaper folder.
I opened the preferences and found the Track Controls Panel was available under Appearance as it should be.
I checked the Tint track panel background and the color change worked.
not sure why it's missing for you.
I suggest you try making a portable install.
- Run the 5.91 installer
- after the License Agreement, you'll get the install location window.
in the bottom right of that window is a checkbox for a portable install.
- install it directly to the C drive or you main system drive.
I suggest you not run Reaper immediately after and instead, close the installer and then make a copy of the portable installation folder as a backup.
- run Reaper Portable, set up your sound and then set the Appearance/TrackControl Panels in Option/Preferences.
- Copy the Solaris_LCS theme file and matching folder to the ColorThemes folder located inside the new Portable install.
- Run the Reaper executable from inside the portable install so you know you've opened the correct one.
load the Solaris theme.
This will take a minute, the theme is a bit heavy.
