Default Reaper over Power Director?

I've used Power Director for years for editing music instruction videos. Because of this have never tried video in Reaper. I edit video in Reaper, then import into PD.

But seems Reaper video editing capabilities are growing by leaps and bounds now.

If anyone has used both, does learning video editing in Reaper offer any advantages?

Default

don't know power director but I know reaper well. if it has great vst support, ripple editing, custom workflows like reaper then maybe no point in switching. For me those are some of the benefits to staying in reaper.
