Default Another crazy idea: Global song key setting

Ok, let's assume that Reaper will be used for making mostly music, using both MIDI and audio recording.

Well, when one start writing, often the starting point is, right after tempo, finding the Key it will be in. Let say that I started writing and arranging something in C. Then I get to record vocal but the signer I have would be more comfortable singing, say, in D minor. Wouldn't it be nice to have a global setting where I could just change the setting from "C" to "Dm" and have all my midi, like in the whole arrangement in one go, transposed accordingly? Or am I dreaming? Opinion?

Most, if not all, notation editor have such a function. Is there a reason it's not in any host I know of? Not possible maybe?

It can be done in EnergyXT's sequencer for midi; and even for audio it is possible: in Celemony Melodyne.

It can? How? I do own a license of eXT but I'm not very good with it, would love to know how to do that.
