I tried Asio4all today, but can't get it working, I can select Asio4all in Reaper, but when I click ok Reaper crashes.

Going to control panel-sounds and speech devices, I can see my Mia selected, but there's no option for asio4all.

Win xp home, p4, Echo Mia midi soundcard.

I'm not an expert in this, but I do know that ASIO4ALL requires a WDM driver. Might that be the problem / do you have it installed?

Beta 4 is broken here too - beta 3 is ok (on a similar Echo Mia system).

Default Can't output!

I was hoping this would make a difference... I can't select my output device on my Sigmatel notebook. It works fine in Kristal, but REAPER locks the output device and tells me it isn't available.

Any ideas/hacks?

You mean Asio4All? What version of it? Have you tried an earlier one than the new one?

I tried Betas 1-4 as well as final.

They all seem to allow both input and output in Kristal. Reaper does something different, and I don't really know why...

I now have asio4all beta 3 working in reaper, but with dissapointing results, a project that played back with a stutter here and there with the mia driver, now stumbles big time with the asio4all driver, both set at 512 buffer. And asio4all crashes reaper when I change the buffer setting.

Nice driver, works well, but there's one thing missing: no way of selecting buffer sizes below 64 samples. If you work at 48kHz and use 4 buffers instead of 2, 64 samples is very big latency
It performs almost the same as v2.6 for me,but I think it's a bit more stable now at high loads.
