I've got to go with chip on this one. Sort of.
The seperate cursors are good when you want to preview the midi sequence. But when I hit play in the arrangement window, I would like the midi editor to lock to IT, and for the transport in the midi editor to disable. It's pretty irritating when I've got the transport in the audio editor going, and I hit space after doing a quick edit, in the midi editor. The midi editor starts playing SEPERATELY, OUT OF TIME. It's a mess. I then have to click on the transport in the main window to stop playback. Not that having to click on the main transport is SO bad, but I can't imagine a situation where it would ever be acceptable to have both transports running seperately, out of time.
It would be nice if, when the main transport is running, the transport in the midi editor would disable.
Locking the two cursors together, as chip stated, would be nice too, but that really, for me, is secondary to the above stated situation.
