Drag Zooming for the Media Explorer and Midi Editor too!
I know the wonderful new drag-zooming feature is still being tweaked, but for consistency and usability I really hope it's ported to the MIDI editor and Media Explorer.
Out of the two the Media Explorer is more important in my opinion because MIDI data is relatively low precision, whereas accurately making audio selections to correctly loop AND avoid zero crossing clicks often requires juggling between fully zoomed out, and zoomed in to the sample level (on both ends of the selection).
Currently the Media Explorer zoom functionality just isn't up to the task with the middle mouse button as zooming all the way in/out takes enough scrolling to cause carpel tunnel. (try it for yourself by looping a small section of a multi-minute audio file)
Drag-zooming would make the arduous task of accurately looping selections and finding zero-crossing a breeze!

Good news!
Schwa did mention that once they have sorted it out for the arrange they will move on to the MIDI editor
Media explorer would be amazing though!

Is drag-zoom implemented into (pre-release) builds? I haven't heard of this. How do you perform it?
Thanks,
Mike

Is it still relevant or no longer to wait?
