Default (Help Required) Midi - copied track stop repeat inserts!

Hi all,

I have been a silent visitor on the board for a while and have decided to start talking asking questions.

I have a query I hope someone can help me out with. When I make a midi track for instance a drum beat and drag it to repeat the loop, if I then want to add a fill at the end of the 4 bars which have been copied how do I stop reaper applying the changes to the rest of the bars. I hope you follow me I know I haven't explained myself very well.

I love reaper its is the most logical DAW I have ever used.

All the best,

Chappie86

You seem to have Loop source turned on in the Properties. Cool. Now, before you add that fill on bar 4, GLUE your MIDI item, so it becomes one item. In that case, when you add the fill in bar 4, it will only be added there.

Alternatively, you can split the MIDI item at the beginning of bar 4, add the fill, and then go about doing the rest of the drum track.
