Default Won't record "in" time.

I'm sure this is some basic thing I'm missing. When I record audio the tracks all fall out of sync. I have audio device preferences set to wave out. Tried ASIO4ALL but reaper crashes every time I open track settings. I would like to change over to reaper from cakewalk but I can't do it till I can solve this.
Probably something simple.......

Thanks

Have you tried the new version?

It has this bugfix(amongst others) which may sort it out...

"Improve a condition where actual latency would increase over time."

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Downloaded and installed latest version. I left everything at default and it seems to be ok (for now).
I'll need to do a bit more experimenting to make sure.
Thanks again.

Peter.

Cool, love to here if it works properly...theres been a few posts about files not being in the right position when recording...it'd be good to know if this fixes it.

I installed Reaper on a friends VERY slow computer, and in Nicholas's project the vocals were playing out of time, and I couldn't correct it
