Default Hap in Reaper ?

Hi,
I've read the latest CDM post, mentionning that Apple is dropping Quicktime.
The author is mentionning a newer, open-source codec (which i never heard of yet), with nice performances, called HAP.
Is there any chance that Reaper supports reading and exporting HAP files some day ?

Also some giants announced a newer AV1 codec that will be supported in all mobile devices around 2019-2020.

Companies behind this open source project are Google, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, and some other big names.

It supposed to be better than HEVC and 40% smaller, optimized for both playback and streaming.
