Default FX window column accessibility

Hi Super new to the forum, this is my first post.

There are two columns in the effects (FX)\ window.
IN this video I have the FX window docked east side screen.: Keybinding: F
once there arrow key up and down can navigate thru a single column.
However the parent column is inaccessible.
I would expect to be able to switch column focus by press TAB
which I do allot of in the video.

I'm a really big fan of automation and the tactile approach so if someone
could elucidate me how this operation can be key bound.
I would really appreciate it

Hi Croakouttatune,

Welcome to the Reaper forums!

I see your point.
Probably you can't navigate from the left (tree) view to the table on the right hand side, because these are two different parts of the FX window. The tree view on the left hand side determines what's listed on the right hand side.

However: good point!
Surely worth a feature request.
Possibly there might even be a solution at this point, but I can't remember whether there is one - at least not in Reaper itself.

If you are fond of automation, I'd suggest 'AutoHotKey' (if you shouldn't know it already anyway), a tool that gives you nearly limitless possibilities to automate things, not only to assign hotkeys to a task.
