Default Reaper and ASIO4ALL

As a newbie I am trying to get Reaper running on my Laptop/Vista Home Premium SP2. Reaper shows that it is recording, but I get no sound out of my speakers.

A friend suggested that the problem is that the ASIO4ALL driver that I'm using (version 2) is only showing SPDIF outputs, not analog ones.

I have checked the control panel for ASIO4ALL, and I don't see any way of changing from SPDIF output to analog output.

Any useful information or tips would be very welcome!
Thanks, in advance!

Unless your audio device has some built in software like Realtek HD audio manager, sounds like you're out of luck. Some people report success with WASAPI audio system, rather than ASIO. Try that.

Also, welcome to the forums
