How can I set markers while playing on the current playhead position?

Hi,

when I try to set markers while playing to identify interesting sections, they get set behind the current position (at the last set cursor) instead of where the playhead is.
(I am using M or SHIFT-M)

This makes it rather tedious to set markers in an interview to identify the interesting stuff.

Bug or is there another function that I could bind to M that would do what I need?
