A bit different this is composed as the name may suggest with

I just want to add your track to REAPER and then add a vocal track, mix it, and submit it to you. In my head, I'm hearing a mix track that sounds like a merge between Genesis and Jethro Tull. If I pull this off, well... hehehe
Let me know?
Oh yeah, if YES, please tell me what ""Passage to Fruition" means to you? Passage from what to what? Fruition = growth, yes?

Yeah, I'm so happy. This is a perfect time for me to to this, as: 1) I injured my back and I'm rehab, and have time, 2) I'm in between producing two of my own song (ie. need a break) and, 3) It is bloody hot outside, and after my 5 miles walk, my gym workout/rehab, my 2-3 hours in the garden @ 100+ deg., I need a break. I have extra time to do something creative and worthy in the air conditioning of my house (although I will need to turn if OFF while I record; LOL).
I give myself, three weeks, MAX, to deliver a product. This is going to be fun.
Cheers

RDOIS
Did I mistake your intentions RDBOIS, are you intending to sell me some lyrics?

No and yes.
I will write them, sing and mix. Then I will send the tracks your way so you can do whatever you want. I will send the track DRY and WET, and my mix.
This, I'm sure you realize, is going to be one of my biggest challenge so far... The song is "all over the place", but in a good way. The vocal track needs to tie all the bits and pieces into a comprehensive story. The story is the glue. I'm approaching it as if your song is the track for a movie, but the movie has yet to be written. It is like reverse-engineering the sound track of a movie; write the music first, then create the story... LOL
I love it!

Got better and better and better. Really love this journey and the transitions are really good. Grooves hard.
1:25 the guitar work could use more conviction I think to match the rest.

Thanks Guy's
very kind of you to comment in such a way7
RDBOIS do not get carried away I am very independent.
I can work with others and I love a band
I also love playing with like free minded musos but from where I am there are
almost none.
Thanks to you to you Fergler too
My story is important that I am trying to convey that is why the
lead is what it is uncertainty comes into that, fragility etc
I just play what I feel,
I actually did two versions of that section so secretly you may be on to something!
I am getting good mix
results now and am looking at putting out another
set of numbers (CD)by myself money being what it is
I would get Bob Katz to do it but we can not have everything
Bob did my last CD.
I will have another look at Passage to Fruition again I am not frightened
at changing anything I do.
My phrasing is important to me that is why my guitar work is
as it is. I can get very brutal I have a song on one of my CD's called
"Binary Spy" it is very intense just Bass Lead guitar and I think Drums..
That one does not have an end that you would recognize
A Pro audio person said to me once that it needs an end, what he did not think of is evil never ends....
