Ability to add a "Comment" to a shortcut
As a migrating user, I'm finding I lose my way as I'm trying to remember my shortcuts, and what they're called in Reaper.
I have a Google doc going just to make notes to myself. But I just ran into an instance again where I lost one, and it was all to do with what the shortcuts are called. The one I was looking for was one to "Reveal selected media item in the Finder (OSX)". But it turns out the shortcut is called "Open selected item path...." But I had to google how to do it all over again just to find out I had already assigned it but failed to make a note to myself.
Anyway, a comment field for the shortcuts, that is also searchable in the "Find Shortcut" would be a very very welcome addition for me and hopefully others.
Thanks for listening.

I was thinking about doing a feature request to have a "favorite" tag for shortcuts (or even freely assignable tags, but that would be more advanced), so I could see my most used ones at a glance.
But actually this would work well with your feature request too, I'd just have to write "fav" (or whatever I like) in the comment.
So +1 from me.
If you do a votable FR here

I am in.

Thanks, voted.
Btw., put a link in the tracker to this thread here, saying "discussion thread", otherwise it might get closed by a moderator, if there's no link to a corresponding discussion thread.

Thanks - is the "tracker" something different than the original post? I couldn't find anywhere else to post a link to this thread, but did post a link in my original post.

Sorry for being confusing.
This
http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?projectid=2
is commonly called the issue tracker or simply tracker. But yes, I actually meant your original post there. So everything is fine.
