Very nice, thanks devs!

However "Divide arrange view vertically every x measures" doesn't work with this grid size unfortunately, I'd expect it to work tho, it should alternate every other measure (or, zoom-dependent mode would continue to work as it does).

It's also not possible to set grid to "measure" in MIDI editor (and also in note length dropdown), so grid drawing (and note entry via double-click) and snapping there is still messed up in odd timesigs that are higher than 4/4. Also it kinda makes "Use the same grid division in arrange view and MIDI editor" inconsistent then.

Anyone having trouble with "mcp_master_vol_zeroline"? I can't get it to work. I tried these values, taken from other statements in my rtconfig.txt:

mcp_master_vol_zeroline FF00733b ;(green hue)
mcp_master_vol_zeroline 66304c61 ;(blue/grey hue)

It's ARGB, if I understand correctly.

Thanks for adding mcp_master_volthumb.png! Please add tcp_master_volthumb.png to match it.

+ Ruler: support drawing ruler by measures, snapping to grid by measures
+ Video: improve processor updating of TCP parameters

Could someone elaborate, what these 2 new fetures do?

This bug continues to happen :

When I click on an item, sometimes, window editor doesn't scroll.

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....ll#post1980830

When I save the project, it seems resolve the issue temporarily.

About the situation, Justin has said this :
Quote:
The selection linking to active editor only works in the "one MIDI editor per project" mode at the moment (which is why those options are grayed).
But what is the rapport with the random lack of window midi editor scrolling ?

Be sure to put that after mcp_vol_zeroline (as that one sets both and the mcp_master_ just sets the master).

The knobs in the plugin UI or on the track do not update if the video processor isn't actively being processed (e.g. it's not affecting the output of the video window, or the video window is closed), which should ideally be fixed.

BUT -- this is not worse, 5.91 also behaves in this way.

New bug. Randomly, my keyboard (computer) doesn't work. It happens the same thing with the buttons of my mouse which are able to emulate the keyboard.
It seems to happen after handling some VST. If I close some Window FX chain, my keyboard works again.

ok I see now. video window was closed when I tested quickly.
I can live with that.

1 implies 4 beats, so grids are drawn out every 4 beats regardless of time signature. Measure draws one gridline per measure regardless of time signature (which actually makes more sense... why would you want a gridline at beat 4 in 5/4, for example? It's not really useful, and also makes snapping overly eager when all you might've wanted is snapping to measure starts only).

How to get/set with script? Doesn't seem to give any thing useful with:
Code:
retval, divisionIn, swingmodeIn, swingamtIn = reaper.GetSetProjectGrid(0, false)
and the action doesn't have a toggle state?

Yes the action should have a toggle state so that it can be used along with other grid setting actions on a toolbar!

Devs, pre1 still crashes when I try to load an old project with Console 1 VST3 on Mac

EDIT: If I add a Console 1 VST3 instance on an empty track/project it loads fine. Just wanted to mention that.

Small change but making a huge difference! Thank you.

I am very happy that it happened so quickly but...
I was writing about that lot of clicking...

Now workflow looks like:

NEW
A: (dont auto show new envelopes and allow write to hidden envelope)

  1. set touch mode
  2. click envelopes window
  3. click arm (ups... it also checked visible)
  4. click unvisible
  5. touch that fader!
OLD

B: (auto show new envelopes and allow write to hidden envelope)
  1. set touch mode
  2. touch that fader! (yeah I done what I want)
  3. ups... the envelope appear
  4. click envelope menu
  5. click hide envelope
So it is not benefitiental at all.

What I propose is to give option to show or arm new envelopes separately and unlink visible and arm in envelopes menu.

Could you please take the time to read this and this posts?

Unfortunately I don't know when it's happened but I think it is a bug. Is there anyone out there that has the same problem with some midi devices?

Thank you.

@DANIELE
Did it work before and stopped recently, when updating to a new Reaper-version?
