Hi Arthur - I'd just like to say I'm struggling to believe just how awesome this is. Like Timbral's strips - so much fun to be had just hitting that randomize button.
The results are just awesome!

+ absolutely.. instant musical FX!
but... wait for it.. all because of you made it possible..
short:
Thank you so much again to both of you!
EDIT:
one strange thing.. Chorus doesn't keep the exact routing pins..
even after after fix to 13+14 and re save the strip...
if the track has no 16 track count, when loading it adds also standard routing pins.
if i pre define 16 tracks problem not happening.
never saw this with my multitrack strips.. most of the time i add the strip first and later define the track counts with no problem.

Well StripSets save and recall the entire track chunk, whereas a single strip loads each fx chunk section only (as it wants to merge with any current track fx. I guess there maybe something else in the track chunk that isn't getting copied that might be causing the difference.
I might be able to add a channel requirement into the strip file (based on current settings when saving) - then ensure these channels are allocated when the strip is imported. Will look into.

hmm but no, just regular Strips as like DrumBankBlank i upload recently
all in one track - routed internally ..
i think this is still something related with the Shared Strip?
also except MDA s and Chorus i can't change the gui sizes ..
they are always returns to first shapes.. thin tall
EDIT:
let me say once again.. nothing urgent / important to me!

New Update.
Now when you save a strip - it stores the number of channels on the track.
When recalling the strip - if the number required is greater than current amount - it changes it to the required amount before loading any fx.
Can you let me know if this fixes it? (Haven't been able to test myself yet - other than the code is working). You will need to resave the strip as it should be set up (16 channels). Then try loading into a new track. Do all the fx load with the correct pins setup??

now i will push extremely
making cleanup of Fx Rack strip..
scenario:
i was trying to link all Fx bypasses to input volume bypass parameter
(first JS in the chain)
for remove macro and bypasses & use just one parameter...
so linked all, saved strip and tried load to see if its works with no problem...
bah!..it freezes the Reaper while load..
interesting part.. loaded to master by accident opened in no time
tried both way couple of times ..same result.
EDIT:
also with the latest update, re saved the strip after removing parameter links ..loads was fine..
then i re link them to see if it changes..nope.. still freezes the Reaper..
again removed all links with the latest re saved ..started to work..
...
i just realized while writing down ..it was kind a obsessive process
anyway ..that's it for now .
ill go back to continue to create my mods.

Thanks Leon! I had the same reaction after prototyping and I'm glad you guys are too. As usual I can't say how grateful I am for your work in making Stripper and allowing us to have all this fun. And this strip is really just the beginning of what I think I can do with FX & randomize. If/when you get the time and inclination, more randomize controls would open up all kinds of (infinite/random) doors... the possibilities are exciting. Timbral- thanks for the mod cleanup and help! Excited to give it a spin- when I get back to the laptop next week. Cheers

https://stash.reaper.fm/v/25168/js_plugins.zip
..
yes, i was already test it while GUIs OPEN & CLOSE
i just did same tests again to being sure .. & two test strip sent
EDIT:
i replaced the zip file in Stash .. same link as above
https://stash.reaper.fm/v/31579/Arth...imbEdt-DUO.zip
fixed missing bypass params & Fx chain mixer added in to zip file.
EDIT2:

Well - all I was saying was that the plugin missing from my studio machine (Reapack installed and updated) - was the ONLY required plugin I had on my dev laptop - missing all the mda etc. But my studio laptop also with updated Reapack - didn't have it. And I didn't manually install it...
Anyway - it doesn't matter really!
New update:
On further testing the update with setting track channel number on importing strips didn't work with sharestrips - and reset the channel count to 2 for any imported sharestrips.
Have fixed this in the update - but if you imported any sharestrips that contained this info (ie created in the last day) - then you will just need to reimport from the sharestrip file. The sharestrip files are fine - it was the import code that extracted the strip file data from the sharestrip file that contained the bug.
Regarding your 2 freezing strips you emailed me. Funny thing - first time I tried them - the Delater version froze up (i think). happened a few times. Reloaded reaper each time - but now it doesn't seem to ever freeze up.
Tried on my studio computer - working fine here...
No idea what was causing the freeze though at the moment - sometimes it seemed to freeze after loading just 1 plugin. othertimes it got further... odd - I'll continue to think on it.
Although the freezes might have been caused by the wrong channel count - I'm not convinced at the moment.
EDIT: Another minor bugfix release.

i am still suspecting the parameter linking in the Reaper fx chain
weird part is that DELATER (delete later ) works all the time if i insert to master track
new version (XLII)
i added A1 Trigger Gate as first fx in the chain (so processing the inputs)
will save and export with new update and upload in a min.

I just tried to add a gauge to a meter, but I think because stripper can't sweep through the values it didn't work. Trying to add values manually causes errors. It would be nice to add gauges to peak meters and gain reduction meters. I guess ideally it would be possible to manually enter min val/max val/no. of ticks, and gauge editor would work out the inbetweens.
BTW, I've been really enjoying the recent sharestrips and videos. This script is so awesome!

Ah - that's an oversight - since I added the separate colours for values/titles. I will update to make sure the dropdown text is the same as the value text (rather than the original title text).
Looking forward to trying out the new strip soon...

Thanks,
Have updated - and you should be able to create gauges for the track channel peak meters now
Only thing not working is the search for value (when clicking on display value) - but don't think this is really needed for meters.
As for GR meters - as these would have to be output by plugins - I can only see it being possible to manually enter all the values. Will look into. I could do a start/end then fill in the middle - but it would require a linear scale to be even slightly accurate. (TBF - most GR meters I've seen are normally fairly linear)
What sort of errors were you getting?? I tried manually adding points - and it just always displayed -1, INF (ie. -infinity - which was the current value of the meter). But got no errors.

Another update:
Gauges: For stubborn or otherwise non-auto createable meters - You can now set the position where you want to add a tick (on the control graphic) - then right-click the value display (just underneath) - and type in text you want to be on the label.

WOW So quick. Thanks!
This is the error I just got while trying to manually add a tick to a GR meter. (Not updated to newest yet)
Code:
LBX Stripper.lua:7289: bad argument #1 to 'find' (string expected, got nil)
EDIT: Just got same error doing the same thing with newest update. Not followed your new procedure yet.
EDIT2: Tried to rename a tick label but it added a new tick in the wrong place instead
EDIT3: Aaah, got it! I hadn't moved the param to the position I wanted the tick... D'oh

what's happening here!
@ dear Mr Gandalf
a cosmetic one:
making this area resize able or a little more wide (as much as that one of the green arrows size for example)
is this is possible?
not a must have but i would love it
ah ha i just realized what is page 100 !!
yep deserves a party - celebration something

For what purpose does it need to be wider? If it's just because of the graphics fn - then it'd be much easier to make it wrap the text onto a new line than to widen the panel. Of course if it's for other reasons - then it probably can be added.
YAY - 100 pages!!!

Congratulations!
ah yes!, just for the hidden part of graphic names.
EDIT:
cough ehamm.. OK!
new wacky ..one of the worst i guess...
is lua can access to items? actually not just items but takes especially?
scenario:
create a package for example put 128 items in one as takes and switch the takes from stripper?
important part is must exact, so not randomly..
i mean when you adjust Take switcher Control and capture Snapshots must recall exact same takes when you load Snapshots again.
i stop here..before go further and start to fly...

just switching the midi takes no complex comping system...
poor mock up:
not just a drums ..would.. basses leads sequences ..basically all you need on fingertips
(EDIT:
and manipulating them would just a peace of cake via forge to range, forge to key, transpose... with all kind of midi fxes)
where the idea comes:
i created various Strip Sets up to 2000 tracks ..
was planning store all midi data i need... hide tracks... and use track mutes in Stripper..
but turned out was almost impossible to use more than 500
because of load time & Cpu usage..
if this take thingy is possible would kind a revolutionary (imo)

A take switcher control sounds doable (without looking into it or thinking too hard).

Take control assignable to snapshots would be amazing. TZ I did something similar but with a "randomize takes in selected items" on an action trigger, randomizing collapsed midi takes of kick, snare, hihat, lead melody etc. It's an incredibly powerful way of creating beats/ideas but without the ability to save them unless you duplicate on arrange view. If take control could be optionally assigned to snapshots the way modulators are.... oh baby

Absolutely!
storing / recalling exact takes essential!
i wish it would possible!
+1 i see and increase: yeah baby!
Randomize Takes & Randomize sounds.. i don't know where this will end!

It will end on stage at the Grammy's! Lol
This is also the reason I requested macros to work with randomize and action trigger: one button click to randomize sound, midi take and FX processing at the same time.... we could literally create new track ideas in one click :O

i was dreaming more like EDIT MODE: FX PARAM / TR PARAM / IT PARAM...
