I believe there is a known issue with Logitech drivers.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Have you tried using the Windoze drivers.

Welcome to the board.

P.S. No need to be short. Everyone on the forum is more than happy to help.

Hmmmmm.... You may want to check out your BIOS settings or something, as I use Dell, Microcrap, and no-name USB keyboards with Reaper all the time without any issues.

Welcome to the forum.

Um, it does support USB controllers. Have you set up your USB device in preferences?

if your USB controller is working properly, reaper supports it.

I made a video MIDI tutorial in Reaper using a USB keyboard. The OP is obviously a troll.

Logitech USB mouse and keyboard here, no problems at all.

Just in case the OP is not a tiny, ugly, cave-man lookin' thang...

Can you post some specific details like make and model of the USB keyboard? For example, some CME keyboards have notoriously CRAPPY (or is that CARPPY) USB implementations.

PC details? What OS you running etc... ???

Default USB keyboards

Is he talking about USB keyboards (ie typeing) or USB KEYBOARDS ie MIDI IN/OUT?

My Yamaha S90 USB connected KEYBOARD works great. Maybe you're having trouble setting up your midi in/out and / or drivers???

What kind of KEYBOARD do you have?

I've always seen it as being more on the Tuna side myself: cheaper than salmon but far better on a jacket spud.

I reckon I have never eaten a jacket spud. I have never eaten spotted dick either, but' I've heard it's rather tasty.

I have eaten silk worms and sea slug, twice each, and never again.

The OP clearly feels the need to carp on about Reaper.

Should do something more useful with his/her life before it's too late - what's that phrase? Oh yeah, Carpe Diem!

This whole thread is turning into an Asterix cartoon - these reaperites are crazy.

Oh for cod's sake, this is really getting too bass.

You can see it's a red herring a mile off, next you know bullshark will be having a dab... looks like this one'll be left to flounder.

At least I got on the threadtail though.

I wonder where that fish has gone.
You did love it so. You looked after it like a son.
And it went wherever I did go.
Is it in the cupboard?
Yes! Yes! No!...
Wouldn't you like to know? It was a lovely little fish.
And it went wherever I did go.
It's behind the sofa!
Where can that fish be?
Have you thought of the drawers in the bureau?
It is a most elusive fish!
And it went wherever I did go.
Ooooh, fishy, fishy, fishy fish!
A-fish, a-fish, a-fish, a-fishy, ooooh.
Ooooh, fishy, fishy, fishy fish!
That went...
...wherever I...
...did go.

nah what i ment to say is im talking about a USB keyboard not the type of keyboard im typing on though. Like a Usb midi contoller. I have a E-Mu Xboard 25 key midi contoller its pretty old but I have been using it no problem in my copy of reason and in pro tools. I was checking reaper out because its affordable and I heard good things about it. I was trying to use it with a VSTi and i realized it doesn't accept my keyboard. i tried a few times and it wouldnt recognize my driver. then i tried to fool it using a program that tells it that its actually a MIDI device (i read it would make it work after some searching) but it didn't like me. it likes carp.

LOL... It's good to keep your sense of humor around here malki. Just a thought, does EMU provide a specific driver for the Xboard or is it "Class compliant" (sic)? If there is an EMU driver, do you have the latest version?

Sorry I can't help more but I don't have an Xboard. Check back here though because I'm betting somebody will come along who does have an Xboard and might be able to help.
