Default Altiverb always run in stereo mode even the track I/O has been set to 6

Hi,
I tried to insert the Altiverb into reaper track.
I found it cannot run in surround mode even I'd set the channels to 6 before the altiverb is inserted.

In Cubase 5, it can work in surround mode.
And I can see it shows "Altiverb 7 (Audio Ease) (6ch)" in the list.

And I am sure it's the XL edition.

Click on the channel FX button. Select Altiverb then hit Options > create multi channel outputs for plugin.

or similar... ive not got reaper open at the moment.

It doesn't fix this issue.
Altiverb XL still think it's run in a 2 in 2 out audio track

In case anybody is still looking for this, in the fx-chain window, right-clicking on Altiverb and making sure inform plug-in when track channel count changes seems to do the trick.
