I just discovered this contest this month, too late to submit my mix. I worked up a quick 2-hour mix just to see where I was at relative to others and, wow, I've got a lot to learn! Going through the project files now and learning some great stuff that I probably would never have figured out on my own.
Thanks to everyone who runs and/or participates in this project. I hope to contribute something in the future.

Congratulations.
Really good mix.
Also thanks to Dajarma for the contest.
The combination of mixing/voting/commenting in context with the actual multitrack files provides excellent training.
Using only stock plugs is also challenging in a good way.
So I´m all for keeping up this practice.
Cheers!

Well deserved win Javiramallo!
I took away a lot from this round of mixing. I've said it before but it bears repeating: reference tracks! Mixing in a vacuum, I got things sounding how I liked, but as soon as I heard and compared my track against others it was obvious mine lacked some high end.
Also I am starting to feel the need for one or two more reverb options (or to work harder in sourcing public IRs). That's the big thing that I don't have very well dialed for myself.

I think you meant to post this in December, but can you shoot me a message describing what you did before the page crashed so I can try to duplicate the problem?

I've been looking at this forum all month (because I have it in bookmarks) and telling myself "how little activity there is this month!
HAHAHAJAJAJ
now I explain everything.
I'm going to take a look at the December thread because I'm sure I've missed interesting things.
On the other hand.
In my failure of the voting page, no message appeared, only the window closed suddenly when pressing the play button of both participants.
I have not been able to reproduce it today, so I would not give it more importance since it is possibly something related to my part.
Just confirm that my votes have arrived and that's it.
Thanks for everything Daryl.

My mix is not up to par this go...I knew I was winging it way late into the night and made a last moment change that put things lil outta whack...lol....but fun to be a part of again. Would really like to see the top 2 files to compare what they did...will this be possible yet..? Some good ones goin on. Also...I prefer to download all the flacks and compare in reaper ....though still trying to figure how to link the mute or solos to be able to hit solo and other turns off....not a bigeye but wondered if a script is out there or any decent method to compare. The website method is nice but not my preference . Good luck all...I'm gonna try to give my best feedback this go too....again..great job by what I heard so far. Happy holidays to all...😎

You’ll be able to see the project files after the vote.
Ctrl + alt + click the solo button gives you exclusive solo.

Sorry, I'll try to fix that bug soon. As a workaround, play from the playlist instead of the voting card, especially if you are using the start and end points drop-down menus. Assuming it's the same but javiramello reported.
