Default Windows files alongside wav files

Hi everyone, not a big problem but when I go into my project folders to gather the files to send to a guy who mixes for me, there is always another file alongside the wav files, think they are window media files or something, I only have to delete them so is there a way to eliminate them when saving in the first place? Thanks

They'll be the peaks files I guess. Reaper caches these to speed up waveform display.
There's options to put them somewhere else.

Options | preferences | media

or
preferences | general | paths

If they are the peak files you can set up in preferences to put them all into their own folder. It makes the project folder much neater.
