Strange clicking issue

My band spent 2 hours trying to figure this out and we still can’t fix it. Only in Reaper, every time we click it acts as a double click. Click a faded, and it automatically jumps to the default. Click a pan knob, it jumps to center. Click a solo or mute button, it quickly returns back to its off state. Click an empty space in the mixer view, and it creates a new track. We think the issue is its’s acting as a double click, but not sure! Anyways, we’re stuck and unable to work on our projects! Our drummer is an IT guy so we tried all the usual tricks (restart, update, windows update, mouse drivers, etc...).

Anybody have an idea??

Sorry, I have no idea, but it might be useful if you lay out all your relevant info: What version of Reaper, Computer essentials (PC/Mac, RAM, CPU, etc), what version of your operating system, etc.
