I've used a powermate with Reaper. You need to set it up using key commands. For example, if you use the left and right arrows to move the play cursor forward and back in Reaper then you need to set up the Powermate so that it sends repeating left keystrokes when turning it left and right for right. Using this method you can customize it to pretty much do what you want.

I've had limited success. the left and right scrolling only works when the lane panel is active. is there some kind of universal "when I push right scroll right no matter what portion of the program I'm working in" option?

I have on, but I couldn't get it to work smoothly as a scrub dial, so it's just a fine tune mouse scroll wheel. Useful for tuning in Battery. It's a more defined scroll. I got it to play and stop but the space bar is more convenient. If anyone has sorted out a good use I'm definitely interested.

I use the older driver for it. I found the version 2 a bit buggy.

Ia anyone using the Powermate for controlling plugin parametrs in Reaper?
Would it work for virtual rotary controls like those in Slate VMR?
