Vsts and Midi Controllers not working

Hi, I tried to get my Analog lab vsts into Reaper, and Analog lab V appears in the list of vsts in reaper now. When I click on it, Analog lab opens, but I am not able to play any tones, neither with my midi controller, nor by using the keys in the program.
Do you know how I am able to fix this problem? I would be really thankful, cant wait to finally record!

At best you should watch some of Kennies tutorial videos, to see how Reaper works.

To hear VST instruments whilst you are playing you need to record arm the track, set the record input to your MIDI keyboard and then turn on Record Monitoring.

Have you heard any sound at all from Reaper...if playing the built in keyboard doesn't work then maybe you haven't set up your audio output.
