New computer new problems

Hello-Just got a new laptop to run live sound recording of my band last week. I use a Midas 18 for live recording and also use a Behringer X18 at home. My last laptop identified whatever machine I am using and used the appropriate driver (X18 or M18). I have loaded all drivers and Reaper on the new windows based laptop. The Midas unit had no problems loading until tonight. Setting up the audio device is no longer showing me the choice of X18 or M18 (depending on which device I'm using). Since Reaper doesn't see the drivers, I can't identify first and last channels/inputs. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a workaround to this?
