Default Problem with monitoring sound on Reaper

Hi,
I'm having some weird problem with monitoring the sound on Reaper. On stereo, each channel sounds different. When I pan, I can hear that the right channel sounds like it's lower in quality (cutting off some low sounds) and the left channel sounds like it has more bass in it. I've tested this on multiple different audio files and it seems to be persistent.

I've tested my speakers/headphones on other audio editing software and they sound just normal. This problem seems to happen only in Reaper. Even when I render out a file from Reaper, it sounds normal. I can even see the volume monitors look normal, so I know that the problem lies in listening to audio previewed off Reaper. This would be fine, but since I have to work with binaural audio, it really hinders my work.

I recorded a video to demonstrate the problem:

Thank you for the help in advance.

There's an active Monitoring FX chain indicated at the top right corner which might be causing issues. So check the plugins in there (View > Monitoring FX).

Thank you, removing it seems to have fixed the problem. It seems that there were some residues left from a spatial sound template I once used.
