I think the TP meter only needs to show the maximum TP. That second measurement is unnecessary to be honest. It's too fast anyways so I don't think anyone will read that or find it informative.

It's not a True Peak meter tough.. just a normal peak meter.

Didn't notice that! I haven't spent time measuring mixes/masters yet. Thanks for clearing that up!

Now the question is, why isn't that measuring TP? Makes no sense to have just another regular peak meter there.

I have no idea... maybe someone likes to see the peak meters bigger? For me the peak meters in MCP are good enough. I agree that True Peak would have been much more useful for the loudness meter jsfx.

Totally agree. True peak both in the JSFX meter and rendering window are essential for LUFS workflow.

– great with the settings menu and features, better appearance when compact/embedded. Will enjoy to play with the colors!

+1 for True Peak -max.

Might be time to start thinking about Post-Fader inserts with embedded GUI?

A natural extension of all this useful metering stuff.

+1 for a True Peak meter

Also, in the Loudness Meter, would it be possible to have a setting that gets rid of the meters and only shows big numbers. For my work in dialog editing, all I need is a big LUFS Integrated number, that I would embed in the TCP. As it is right now, even if I only keep the LUFS-I, when it is embedded, the number is so tiny that it is unusable.

Aside from that, thanks for all the work your putting towards more traditional postproduction tools. With the Media Explorer updates, the surround panner, the dry renders and the loudness metering, you've opened a world of possibilities for me, and I don't think I'll ever need to go back to Pro Tools anymore.

Anyone else getting audio glitches when clicking to reset the JSFX loudness meter or randomly during playback? It doesn't happen if the meter is disabled or if another loudness meter is running instead.

Thanks a lot. It would be great to see this option in other JS (Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope) and native plugins (ReaTune, ReaEQ) as well
