Default [Solved] Reaper does not find Native Instruments-plugins after installing Komplete 12

Reaper is not able to find Native instruments after installing Komplete 12.

I am also not able to find the NI-VSTs, I used before (for exemple Kontakt).

I found this information, but it does not help:
https://support.native-instruments.c...ug-in-Windows-

I made a complete new rescan of the VSTs in Reaper and added the path to NI-plugins (with sub-directory).

Is it perhaps a problem of Reaper?
In the Reaper-projects, I made with Kontakt (and other plugins) before, Kontakt (and other NI-plugins) works without problems.

It IS a problem of reaper. It is not only the Komplete-plugins being vanished from Reapers VST-plugin-list; many plugins have been vanished. I do not know when it happened, but it is really strange: I made a re-scan, but it did not help. Sometimes, Reaper only indicates one plugin in a folder (but there are many, many more).

I do not know what caused this. :-(

I downloaded and installed the newest Reaper-version, but this also did not help.

You must add the path to NI DLL's. If memory serves, they are in c > program files > common files > Native Instruments. Locate the DLL's and add that path to Reaper's plugin path.

If I read this right, the path can be seen in Native Access - depends on whether you let NI install where it wants or you put in your own path.

Unfortunately, it is not that easy. I tried the NI-plugins path and did a re-scan (deleting previous list).

It is not only the NI-plugins which I miss. I thought that because I recognized it after installing Komplete 12.

There are about 50 plugins (perhaps) which I miss now. It is curious because tracks with these plugins work. But I can not insert new ones.
Other thing which is strange: There are some paths to folders where sometimes no and sometimes one plugin is recognized (the others are not).

I deleted the *.ini with the Reaper-VSTs (-> Roaming/AppData, 64bit and 32bit) and did a new re-scan.

Reaper started anew and searched plugins for awhile. After Reaper has started, it was the same as before. The same plugins were missing, and the same plugins could be found.

At first, I thought, there could be a problem about the plugins in the *.ini file signed with a "!!!VSTi". But that can not be because, there are also plugins without this signing, which can also not be found.

I think, this can be a small error, but I do not know how to solve it...

List your vst plugin folders.

Oh wait....you say there's plugs that are in the ini but are not in Reaper....you're absolutely sure you're not filtering the search somehow??

You are right, there was a filter.
I found it under "options" and "plugin settings".

There was an entry "rea" under
"Show only FX which does not fit to filter-chain"

I took it away, now it works.

Thank you for your help!
