Default Filtering results with keywords in Media Explorer

I'm looking for SFX in my SFX library.

I want to look for 'whoosh' sounds, so I type in "whoosh" in the filter box on the top right, good lots of results.

Too many in fact. I want to get rid of all the results including 'fire'.

In Nuendo and Media Bay I would type "whoosh -fire" and it would give me all the results including 'whoosh' and remove any results including 'fire'.

Typing this into Media Explorer and I get no results, I assume it is looking for the string 'whoosh -fire' and getting no results.

How can I achieve what I'm looking to do in Reaper?

Reaper's boolean search capabilities apply to the media explorer, add fx dialog, track manager, actions lis, preferences window and elsewhere.

You can use terms like AND, NOT, OR (with parentheses if required), and more. In some instances, leaving spaces is critical.

There's a fairly detailed explanation with numerous example in section 6.2 of the User Guide if you're interested.
