- the folder management look is just fine, except on first level where the yellow borders are not visible enough.
That last point is more an impression than a true necessity. Maybe, by using more the theme, I'll get the habit of it.
I know I split hair and I suppose the global look doesn't permit certain colors or shiny ones.
Whatever, you have made a wonderful work, and that theme is certainly my top one. I'll tell you when I'll have tested it on my 17" laptop.

I will definitely take those in consideration for the next updates...
And please do let me know how they do on the laptop.
Thank you for the kind words! (~:

One thing I have noticed is that there is no clipping indicator on the meters. Also, there's no numerical peak value display on the channel meters. There is on the masters though.
These two things are very important for my workflow.

There are clip indicators...
And I have added the peak readout to this update. I just didn't list it, so I am correcting that now. My bad... (~:

I guess you mean the update has them? They are not showing here with the current version.

That's odd because they have been there all along, and show up with no problems here.
Now I'm very curious as to why you don't see them...probably something in the settings on your end. Did you use the settings in the .jpeg that came with the themes showing the meter and volume/pan setup for them to function properly?

That was indeed the problem. I have the meters set to a very specific setting to match my theme (the meter max value is 1dB), if I set it to 6dB, they work on your theme but look quite odd in mine. Pity we couldn't specify things like this with WALTER. It would make both theme compatibility and themer work much easier.

Ok, cool...was the only reason that made sense to me. Glad at least we got that figured out.
And indeed, that is on my "wish WALTER would let me" list. But that's a whole other discussion that could go on quite a while, lol. (~:

Thank you so so much for sending me the CC-NV5088 MKII (modified peaks)!
The peak levels are displaying great on all tracks EXCEPT for the Master Output Track.
Please are you able to display the peak level on the Master Output too? Then theme will be TOTALLY PERFECT for me and I'll stop bothering you any further!!!
Many thanks as always for your excellent hard work!

You're most welcome!
And they are showing on the master (at least should be), just at the bottom of the display...I'll see what I can do about moving them to the top for the next update...
And, thank you! (~:

v1.02 Update
New v1.02 is here! The info and screenshots in the first post have also been updated.
An email has gone out to everyone containing both Model 1 and MkII 1.02 versions. So, be checking those in-boxes!
A few of you good people received a 1.02 "pre" release a couple days ago. Please overwrite them with these updates, as there are finalized changes in these.
For those who sent a PM here for request of a theme, please send a new PM or just send me an email (which is preferred and easiest).
Thank you, to all...

I use SWS: Make folder from selected tracks.
I turned it into a custom action with
SWS: Select only parent(s) of selected folder track(s)
Layout: apply custom layout #x (for TCP separator)
Layout: apply custom layout #y (for MCP separator)

As benf stated, you use the 'SWS: Make folder from selected tracks'...I made a couple of custom toolbar buttons to make/unmake folders. I have a whole set of custom toolbars in the makings...just not ready, yet. If you want, I can send those buttons to make it easier for you.

Hi Cincikat,
The MKII theme works fine on my 17" laptop. I just noticed a disturbing thing on the In-line TCP layout (my favourite) : when I use a FX on a track, both the FX button and the enable FX one disappear when the track is selected. They're replaced with the FXin button. To open that track FX window, I have to select another track so both the FX buttons reappear and I can click on it.

Cool! Good to know it works. (~:
And do you mean the In-line MCP layout? When you rec arm a track the FX switches to Input FX (for recording). But the In-line TCP layout shows them all, even when armed/selected. So, I'm not sure why that would happen. It doesn't here on my end...
Are you using v1.02?

Yes. And the problem happens on the TCP. Not the MCP.

Very odd, indeed... Is it happening on both desktop and laptop? Maybe a silly question, but I just can't find any reason why that would happen. I've checked, and rechecked, and tested...all working properly.
Could you possibly email me a screen capture of it? I'm really curious to see, and wanting to resolve it for you.

thanks, I'm extremely happy with MkII !
Definitely my keeper !
I'll send you the promised screenies next week, looks beautifully clean with perfect readability now.
One small request if you don't mind - is there a way to "set back" tracks inside folders noticeably in the track list, like in the default theme ?
I use lots of folders, so that would be nice.
thanks a lot,
Rhino

Well, I think I found the reason why. The FX buttons disappear when the REC function is armed and as I automatically arm the selected track...

Just back from tinkering around with it for a few hours, relax, it's only about the track / item colouring as I prefer a lighter view here, and adding some toolbar functions and stuff.
Wouldn't even dream of messing with the theme itself anymore, it's just wonderful the way it is now.
Cheers,
Rhino

Just checking in, and letting you good folks know that there should be an update by the first of the new year. Not anything too major, but still some cool stuff. Of course, I think this is something cool already... (~:
