Default ninjamsvr on MacOS Catalina

Catalina has an "application firewall", whereby you have to add the program (ninjamsrv) and whether or not it accepts network connections, which I've done. Unfortunately other people can only successfully connect to my ninjamsrv if I completely disable the firewall on the macbook.

Have other people had this problem, and what's the work-around?

Default Work-around = turn off firewall

So, there doesn't seem to be a work-around other than to turn off the MacOS firewall. Since I'm behind a secure router that might not matter, especially for the hour or so that I'm jamming with friends.

The good news is that ninjamsvr works just duckily on MacOS/Catalina. We spent a fun morning last week playing some tunes together for the first time since the covid.
