Default Acustica plugin display issues

I have a weird issue with Iplug1. When my plugin loads before any Acustica plugin, the Acustica plugin does not load a background GUI image. Instead, it uses my plugin's bitmap. Knob images on the Acustica plugin are fine, and my plugins are completely fine. This happens on Reaper with Acustica VST format and any format of my plugins (AU, VST, and VST3). The AU version of Acustica is fine.

When I try to debug, I can't find any issues in the loading of my bitmaps. I do get a runtime issue in XCode related to Reaper64.app. It says:
- UI API called from background thread
- -[NSView setNeedsDisplayInRect:] must be used from the main thread only
- There is also a reference to VSTGUI::NSViewFrame::invalidRect(VSTGUI::CRect const&)

I can't see any other information since this code is outside of my plugin.

Is this on macOS only, or also on Windows?

BTW, to me this sounds more like a bug in the Acustica plug-ins than in yours.

It is only on Mac.

I don't want to blame, but it is weird to see a VSTGUI warning while I am debugging my own AU plugin and the Acustica VST plugin is also loaded.

I just didn't know if other people had the same issue. I am not sure why it would be a problem with my code, and not some other IPlug1 plugins. Maybe I should test some other dev's plugins on IPlug1 to see.

I don't have any Acustica plug-ins here to test with, and I couldn't quickly find any downoads on their website... I guess you could download one of our plug-ins (e.g. Lem Echo Music), and see if that has the same issue.
