Default Add compatibility with newer versions of VLC v3.x

It would be good to upgrade Reaper to be compatible (and find in the video settings) the newer VLC 3.x versions in 64bit (and 32bit).

I work at some VR projects and the new VLC is great, but on the same time Reaper only sees VLC versions 2.x in order to work with its video files.

Any ideas if that would be doable?

Cheers!

But Reaper doesn't use VLC's UI at all.

VLC 3 features functionality for ambisonics and 360 video.

The problem is that there is no way to setup VLC 2.x and VLC 3.x and let Reaper choose which version to use, as VLC installs on top of the previous version, and I don't think that there is a way to overcome this functionality.
